- FALSE – Dishwashers use around 3 gallons for a complete cycle.
- Dishwashers do not clean cookware properly
- FALSE – Pots and pans can be cleaned efficiently by using a heavy duty cycle.
- Dishwashers use a lot of energy and water.
- FALSE- Dishwashers use less energy by using less water, a normal hand washing load is around 20 gallons of hot water, compared to a dishwashers 3 gallons of hot water.
- Delicate glasses get damaged in the dishwasher.
- In a few cases depending on the machine or wash cycle your glasses can get damaged, Glasses can also get damaged by using the wrong detergent causing fogginess and etching.
- It’s not necessary to use a rinse agent.
- FALSE – Rinse agents are highly effective on dishes they help wick away water from them to dry more even and cleanly.
