Are You Holiday Ready?

Spotting the Warning Signs Your Kitchen Appliance Needs Maintenance.

Warning signs that your kitchen range might need maintenance:

1. Burners or Heating Elements Not Working:

If one or more burners won’t heat up, it could indicate a faulty element or electrical issue.

2. Uneven Heating:

Food cooking unevenly suggests that your range’s temperature regulation might
be off.

3. Gas Smell:

A gas odor could indicate a leak, which is extremely dangerous and requires
immediate attention.

4. Sparking:

Electrical sparks from burners or the oven could point to a serious electrical problem.

5. Burners Clicking:

Continuous clicking sounds from gas burners even after they’re lit could signal an ignition issue.

6. Oven Not Heating Properly:

If the oven takes too long to preheat or doesn’t reach the correct temperature, the thermostat or heating element
might be faulty.

7. Faulty Display or Controls:

Malfunctioning buttons, knobs, or a blank display screen can indicate an electrical or control board issue.

8. Unusual Noises:

Strange sounds like buzzing, popping, or rattling can signal mechanical or electrical problems.

9. Door Issues:

If the oven door won’t close properly or the seal is damaged, it can affect cooking performance and efficiency.
